Entry, exemptions and your starting level

A Bachelor's degree or HND in any discipline from an institution recognised by NUC or NBTE, or an equivalent professional qualification.

  • Maximum exemption

    Business Administration or Public Administration graduates are exempted from FA, PQE 1 and PQE 2.

  • Partial exemption

    Other relevant qualifications may be awarded partial exemptions.

  • No exemption

    The PPE Final is written by every candidate. No exemption is granted at this level.

Business and Public Administration graduates receive the maximum exemptions (FA, PQE 1 and PQE 2). You write the PPE Final.

    How and when you study

    Part-time weekend lectures

    Classroom lectures every Saturday, so you can keep working through the week. Lectures run at Approved Teaching Centres of the Institute, and Classic School of Administration is the centre in Owerri.

    Distance learning

    Easy-to-follow study packs with a personal tutor, for candidates who cannot attend Saturday lectures.

    9 months, or as little as 3

    The full programme takes 9 months. Exemptions shorten it. Business and Public Administration graduates can finish in 3 to 6 months.
